Solid Gold

• 24k gold is 99,5% gold | is pure gold but it’s too soft and susceptible to scratches, so it’s not practical for everyday use.
• 18k gold is 75% gold
• 14k gold is 58.3% gold
• 10k gold is 41,7% gold

Pure gold is very flexible and yellow in color, so mixing it with other materials strengthens the gold, making it more appropriate for use in jewelry pieces.
